Join our nationwide community of 40+ organizations and hundreds of survivors and allies preventing and ending violence.

Our Membership Types

We offer two membership options to support both individuals organizing against violence and organizations providing services to address and prevent violence. Learn more about both below.

Individual Membership

The Individual Membership program at SOAR is a collective of survivors, allies, and community members who are committed to advancing the movement to end gender-based violence in the South Asian diaspora. As an individual member, you will actively engage in learning, skill-building, national advocacy, community building, and community organizing. We’re still in the early stages of developing our Individual Membership, but we invite you to join us as we build this program.

Organizational Membership

The Organizational Membership program at SOAR is a collective of community-based organizations that are committed to supporting South Asian survivors of gender-based violence. As an organizational member, staff members at your organization can access opportunities for capacity-building, referrals, networking, and national advocacy through our member events, listserv, resource hub, newsletters, and more.
