South Asian SOAR helms a national network of 45+ South Asian anti-violence organizations, many of whom are reaching a breaking point. The Murmurations Movement Fund (MMF) is the first fund of its kind providing direct support to South Asian anti-violence organizations as they face significant threats to their sustainability: 

  • 95% of organizations report severe losses or reductions in funding

  • 76% are experiencing surging demand for services, and 

  • 62% are facing staff burnout and retention crises.* 

On top of this, grassroots organizations have limited access to private philanthropy, risk losing entire program budgets, and must navigate a rapidly shifting policy landscape that threatens organizations and communities. Without urgent and sustained funding, critical survivor services will disappear. The time to step up is now.

Through the MMF, SOAR will provide timely and direct financial support where it’s needed most, so no organization has to shutter its doors.
